FAQ:

Interlibrary Loan

A patron may place a hold on most titles owned by the Pitkin County Library or by other Marmot libraries through the online catalog. If a patron is interested in a title or in subject matter that is not owned by the Pitkin County Library or another Marmot library an interlibrary loan request may be placed with out library staff. A patron may have 4 Interlibrary Loan items checked out at one time as well as 4 title requests in process. 8 periodical requests may be in process at one time. This service is usually free but some special libraries, such as medical libraries, may charge a fee. There may also be a photocopy fee for lengthy articles.
