Computers, Typewriters and Copy


Library computers access not only the catalog of this and thousands of other libraries, but can also be used for research on the internet. Eighteen internet computers are available by appointment. Appointments can also be made to use word processors which are IBM compatible and operate with Microsoft Word and Corel WordPerfect. The library has typewriters for public use, as well as photocopy machines and microfilm readers/printers. All copies and printouts cost ten cents per page.

The library subscribes to many databases that supply full text versions of poems, books, magazines and newspapers.  These can be accessed from the library computers or accessed remotely by entering a library card number.
