Revealing the Invisible Universe with Evalyn Gates
Evalyn Gates received her Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) followed by postdoctoral fellowships at Yale University and the University of Chicago.
Her research has focused on cosmology and particle astrophysics, including dark matter, the cosmic microwave background, gravitational lensing and the search for ancient stellar fossils in the form of the oldest white dwarf stars. Gates is the author of Einstein’s Telescope: The Hunt for Dark Matter and Dark Energy in the Universe, published by W.W. Norton in February 2009.
