Music at the Library
The Pitkin County Library houses one of the largest music collections in the state of Colorado, it consists of:
- The Edward Kettering Marsh Classical Music Collection with over 14,000 LPs and CDs
- A wide variety of non-classical music in all genres
- Over 3,000 books on music and musicians

Librarian Recommended Books
These books are librarian recommended for anyone who is a fan of music and the incredible artists that create music. Books are available as physical items or as eBooks and/or audiobooks on Hoopla or Overdrive/Libby.
Sound Booth
Record and produce high-quality audio in our sound booth for podcasts, music, or voiceovers with professional-grade equipment. The sound booth includes two guitars, a keyboard, microphones, a mini sound mixer, headphones, and an iMac computer. Users must have a library card and be 13+. Speak with a Librarian to reserve the Sound Booth.
