Free Income Tax Preparation
Retired business or income tax professionals offer free tax preparation for individuals with low or moderate income. This service runs January through March.
How the process works:
- Tax packets may be picked up at the Library’s main service desk.
- Completed intake forms are returned to the desk, where staff secure all materials in a secure location until the tax preparer collects them.
- A tax preparer (Don Davidson or Peter Fuchs) completes the return off-site.
- When finished, the preparer returns the documents to the Library and notifies the patron that the packet is ready for pickup.

Looking for additional tax support?
The Library offers bilingual tax papers that are available for pickup within the building. Patrons may also explore the Library’s online Tax Information resources for IRS forms, filing guides, reputable financial tools, and links to federal or state tax information. These materials support document preparation, clarify filing requirements, and provide guidance on a range of tax topics.
